Edition of 500
2008
Reconciliation was published to coincide with a show by the same name at Permanent Gallery, Brighton (4 October - 2 November, 2008)
In this show, potentially the first of a series, I wanted to revisit my back-catalogue and compare some of the reoccurring themes of my practice, in this case I'm looking at four bodies of work that have come out of an interest in what is often referred to as "Street Photography"
I'm especially interested in the idea of chance or luck in conjunction with skill and method. My work is informed by and reliant on historical precedents as well as self-perpetuated enjoyment of the little prizes that reward a roaming eye.
This publication is intended to further expand discussion around the practice of Street Photography by contextualising early work, street drawing, collected ephemera, alongside the wall display.
