Welcome to TM-City

In TM-City, Dutch graphic designer Richard Niessen translates his practice into a living, growing city in which every street, every neighbourhood and every building embodies an exploration of the graphic language. 'Welcome to TM-City' consists of two layers: the folded printsheet of 70 x 96 cm shows the complete map of the city in silver, overprinted with a text layer: the front is describing Niessen’s work and how it is organised within TM-City; on the back, all 170 street names (sources of inspiration) are described, which in turn informed Niessen’s collaborative project The Palace of Typographic Masonry.
