{"product_id":"choose-love","title":"Choose Love","description":"This book was born from a simple gesture: going out into\r\nthe night, looking, meeting. Photographing without knowing,\r\nwithout waiting, without planning. I photograph the night\r\nas a shifting space where strangers briefly become\r\npresences, appearing at the edge of parties, in suspended\r\nmoments. These images were made in Paris over the past\r\nthree years, moving through all kinds of spaces, from\r\nunderground punk nights to the most mondaine evenings\r\nof fashion week, from sawdust-covered dance floors\r\nto the quiet elegance of art nouveau carpets. Beneath this\r\nwork, a question remains.. A generation highly connected,\r\nyet increasingly distant from physical contact. Too many\r\nscreens, too much flow, too many possibilities. Attention\r\nscattered, leaving less space for desire, for impulse,\r\nfor encounter. This work does not document an absence.\r\nIt looks for what persists. Those who still dare. Those who still\r\ngo out. Those who still meet. Those who, in the night,\r\ncontinue to attempt something. A meeting, a glance, a kiss,\r\na brief story or a longer one. All forms of love. Choose Love\r\nis not a manifesto. It is a belief that even in darkness,\r\nsomething still circulates between us. A raw light.\r\nAlmost naive. Essential.\r\nThis book is a time capsule — we are part of it. We can see\r\nand almost hear scenes of joie de vivre as though they were\r\nunfolding before us. These images whisper the ideals\r\nof a generation — trivial, they are not. They are the marks\r\nof our brief existence in the chronicles of time.\r\n\r\nArthur Samier is a Paris-based fashion journalist and\r\nphotographer, born in 2000.
