American A contains a selection of 80 photographs from a batch of 3000 negatives. The photographs were acquired at an auction and belonged to different local and regional newspapers in the United States between the years 1950 and 1969. They were intended to illustrate local news, today we find here documentation of different topics such as feminist movements, beatniks, countercultural and pacifist, among others. The stories and authors remain anonymous since it has not been possible to find them. A source of inspiration and a document of a unique era.
