How May I Serve You is a collection of live-chat conversations with Saadia Abbasi and Malik Ayaz, two customer service agents based in Pakistan and outsourced by UK companies. It brings physicality to what we all experience during online interactions, putting participants in the position of the “other” and emphasizing the human and social elements of digital engagement. The discussions range from the structure of call centres and cubicles to online identity and the dynamic of technolonialism that arises from outsourcing systems.
