Interwoven started in September 2016 as an online magazine dedicated to telling stories about contemporary culture from an independent, in-depth and critical point of view.
It was born out of the wish of Danish textile producer Kvadrat to surprise, inspire and drive the discussion within the creative scene.
Interwoven gives its authors carte blanche to create content for the magazine whether it takes shape as visuals, writing, film or sound. In their capacity as experts within their field, contributors are invited to offer their unfiltered view or creation.
Together with experts in the fields of art, architecture, design and fashion, Interwoven weaves an engaging mix of unique articles, connecting sectorial commentary, incisive debate and artistic experimentation.
The printed version showcases especially commissioned contributions mixed with highlights, that were published online. It marks the end of the online version, which was always meant as a temporary project.
