50 full-color pages on ivory and caramel paper, with drawings, herbariums, and poetry, in which I recount the shores of Marseille, those that smell of hard-on, limestone, heatwave, landscapes gorged with sperm and sun: Mont Rose, Jardin du Bois Sacré, Grotte St Michel d'Eau douce and the Frioul Islands.
It's an atlas, a collection of imaginary maps, an archipelago of burning islands overgrown with agave, palaces of desire collapsed on the shore, populated by creatures and characters in tender gardens.
Agave also tells stories from LGBT archives, interwoven with the fascinating botanical history of agaves in the garrigues of Marseilles.
