Servilletas / Spanish Napkins

This book brings together 600 original paper napkins collected from bars, cafés, taverns, restaurants, and wineries across Spain. Over more than a decade, photographer Felipe Hernández has assembled these napkins into a personal collection capturing a form of graphic expression embedded in everyday social life. What begins as an ordinary, disposable object becomes a record of a country’s visual identity. Servilletas is an unexpected graphic archive of vernacular culture, and a tribute to a visual universe rooted in Spain’s popular traditions.
