What was once a simple tool—the spray can—has evolved into a medium that transcends reality and gives shape to imagination. Within these works lie the artist’s wishes, traces, and memories. Through his own unique “rotation method,” the artist distributes and expands his creative process, continuously experimenting to avoid losing interest. This book vividly reflects the evolution of his emotions, experiences, and encounters accumulated over time. As a truck driver once told him, “An artist must show the unexpected,” this book presents readers with unconventional attempts and new possibilities born from that spirit of surprise. Author Introduction The artist moves fluidly across genres and media—painting, calligraphy, graffiti, digital art, and VR painting—freely combining traditional and contemporary techniques to develop his own artistic language. In particular, his unique character expressions, which fuse the visual elements of graffiti and brush calligraphy, have become a defining feature of his work. His characters break down the boundary between text and image through irregular patterns, revealing emotions in abstract yet intuitive forms. They evoke the sense of transforming the flow of the unconscious into a visual language. Additionally, his works that reconfigure traditional Eastern motifs within a modern context demonstrate a cultural synthesis linking past and present, East and West. Recently, he has been developing pattern-based works centered on the themes of “coexistence” and “circulation,” exploring the organic interconnectedness of human existence and the cyclical order of nature.
