The photographic work “caшa - sasha” shows my journey with Sasha Lipovoy and Sasha Mysnyk. Two young skaters from Ukraine who both had to flee their home country early 2022. Skateboarding has always been a tool for me to feel welcome in unknown places and to meet new people. While getting to know Sasha and Sasha, many questions came to my mind. How can a foreign country start feeling like home? How can I play a role in this process? The pictures represent everyday situations and normality, far from negative news and unpleasant feelings.
