Book Introduction
This book marks the first step in artist XEVA’s Alphabet Project. His newly designed “Graffiti Alphabet” reconstructs names imbued with traces of the city, presenting
them as new titles. Through this, he captures his distinctive style in a modern palette and an interactive composition.
The book also weaves together various collaborations and projects he has undertaken, illustrating how XEVA’s unique visual language takes form. As both an
experimental record and an exploration of new possibilities for the graffiti alphabet, this zine invites readers to share in the point of inspiration the artist has reached.
Author Introduction
The artist focuses on visually expressing the essence of entities—the flow of energy itself. He believes that every being possesses its own unique energy, and that its
movement and vibration constitute the most fundamental language of existence. Consequently, his work goes beyond mere depiction of form, seeking instead to
stimulate layers of perception and reveal a deep inner resonance.
For him, color and form are not simply tools of representation but mediums that reveal the energy inherent in existence. In this process, vision intersects with touch,
sound, and even emotional resonance. XEVA’s graffiti and visual experiments ultimately explore what lies beyond the visible, expanding the boundaries of sensation and
continually questioning the essence of the contemporary.
