Book Introduction This work begins with the question, “Can artificial objects also be part of humanity?” and unfolds a new world that connects reality and imagination. The artist invites empathy toward artificial forms, treating them as living beings, and through the audience’s acts of touching, passing, and lingering, she awakens new perceptions of space and sensation. Her organic sculptures and Amo characters invite viewers into a fantastical realm, extending further through collaborations with festivals and brands to capture new possibilities of imagination and sensory experience within everyday life. Author Introduction Kkakk is a Seoul-based artist who explores the relationship between artificial objects and humans, expanding the realm of sensory perception. She materializes latent fantasies through two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and installation works, presenting a world that moves fluidly between imagination and reality both in exhibitions and online. Her unique imagination—one that realizes a paracosm (a detailed, self-contained imaginary world)—stimulates the viewer’s senses and continues to foster shared empathy through the experience of her art.
