He has built the issue around works by 90 images challenging and reflecHng the medium of photography and opening up to push it forward in response to the rise of generaHve AI; beyond conceptualism and criHcal appropriaHon, towards a grounded but updated mysHcism. How are photographers and image makers responding to these immense technological and cultural shifts? The issue offers a compelling view on the scope and the impact of the threshold period we’re currently in. What are we thirsty for now?
