mnemotope is a magazine that exists to provide a wide and welcoming platform for the brilliant stories that traditional literature often overlooks. There is no theme, nor restrictions on grammar, writing style or form – as a result, it holds an incredibly varied collection of written and visual arts from all over the world. This edition feels very scenic. Many of the pieces bring you to specificplaces and times, travelling with our contributors as the pages turn. Many of the drawings in this edition feel shadowy, soft edges against the crisp writing on the page alongside it. This is what the cover is drawn from – two travelling shadows, reflecting the life above them.
