For example, when you’re walking around in the middle of nature, or you’re at the beach at night, you might sense something is there. You don’t really know what it is, but you just know something is there. This is a sense people have possessed since ancient times, and although we now live in a modern civilization, it may not have changed at all. I shot Sprite right after the 2011 Japan Earthquake and Tsunami and I completed it five years later, in 2016. We’ve been on a long journey, through an unknown world, without a guide, ever since we were kids.
