Violently Happy Features documentation of a series of scaled down a3
multi layered screen prints over discarded work and found printed matter
of varying autobiographical significance. By recycling or destroying old
works in this way I was able to cathartically create maximal images
through a minimalist approach to materials. The illustrations themselves
question the idea of ownership within bootlegging as an art practice as
well as poking fun at the impersonality of machine communication.
